Mandors has a vast range of materials suitable for making skirts, dresses, blouses, trousers, suits, wedding dresses and evening wear – and the choice has never been so good. We now stock a selection of Harris Tweed and Liberty cottons, as well as Alexander Henry fabrics.

There are silk dupions, wool coatings, suitings, polyester/wool mixtures, satin back crepes and dupions, satin failles, lycras, sequinned fabrics, Italian cottons and hundreds more.

Fabrics for Irish dance costumes, dancing displays, theatre performances as well as for everyday wear. From acetate to zibelline, not to mention polar fleece and faux fur, you'll find it in Mandors.

Many of the staff at Mandors are experienced dressmakers, so just ask for advice on quantities or qualities. From our all-encompassing range of paper patterns, all stocked on the premises, there's bound to be one that's just right for you, whether it's for bridal or evening wear, maternity or outdoors, the everyday or the special occasion.

Bridal brocades, netting, veiling, embroidered satins and dupions (which can be ordered), lace, velvet and chiffons – some of the choices available for brides, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride.

We can send you samples of fabrics for £2.50 – if you specify exactly what kind and what colour. Bridal samples cost £5.00 – again, please specify exactly what you are looking for.
