We have quilters' rulers, rotary cutters and blades, cutting mats, freezer paper and thimbles. We stock 108" quilt backing and of special interest to quilters, 2 oz and 6 oz wadding, as well as Needlepunch, Soft and Bright, Warm and Natural and Warm Bond (all 90" wide). We have quilted backing for pram or cot covers too. We also now sell Aida squares and fat quarter bundles.

Having expanded the craft section, the haberdashery department has also been refurbished. All the basics, such as needles, threads, scissors, hooks and eyes and zips are on display as well as sew much more!

You'll find novelty items such as feathers, pom-poms and chenille pipe cleaners, to name but a few; a comprehensive range of trimmings, lace, beads and marabou by the metre. We stock the complete range of Gutermann threads and a large selection of Madeira threads, as well as Anchor embroidery threads.

Bells, bows, teddy eyes, safety pins and ribbon by the metre; hopefully you will find the button you are looking for amongst our 50,000 in stock!

Also to be found in this department is felt by the metre and in ready cut squares, (some self-adhesive!), fun fur in all colours, long and short, as well as tiger, cow, dalmation, and bumble bee.

Mandors has canvas, muslin, hessian, clear plastic, deck chair canvas and other miscellaneous materials too – please feel free to ask.

Curtain making accessories can be picked up here too, like fabric stiffener sprays, D-rings for tie-backs, anti-static sprays, curtain tracks and hooks, net rods and Roman blind kits.

Dressmakers' dummies in three sizes are kept in stock or can be ordered.
